Sponsorship License Applications

A sponsorship license (formally known as Tier 2 license) enables you to employ skilled workers from outside the UK or a skilled worker who lives in the UK but is not a British Citizen. The laws around this Visa changed since Brexit and the United Kingdom left the European Union on 21st January 2021 and you will now need a sponsorship licence to employ EU citizens who do not live in the UK.

Businesses applying for a sponsorship license cannot have:

• Unspent criminal convictions for immigration offences or other certain crimes, for example fraud or money laundering
• Had a sponsor license revoked in the last 12 months
