British Citizenship/Nationality

British naturalisation is another term for British citizenship. If you apply and are accepted for British naturalisation you will be able to live, work study etc in the UK being free from any immigration controls.

You may be eligible for British citizenship if:

• You have a parent who is British
• You have a settled status under the EU settlement scheme
• You have indefinite leave to remain
• You have a parent who has British overseas territory citizenship
• You’re stateless
